Chewie Walk-A-Tron 5000 Part 1: the Streets of JC

Now that the weather has gotten warmer, we've been taking various routes around the city for our leisurely dog walks. We're bonding outdoors, Chewie is visually stimulated and we get to learn things about JC such as certain streets to avoid. (just kidding, I think!)

We will be covering the routes in different posts. Today's will be about the streets of Jersey City!

Literally.

All I really have are shots of Chewie standing on pavement.

But they're cute.

The streets of home sweet home.

Love early morning walks. This is a route we take to get to the heart of the area we live in.

So my mom just came back from Korea last night. While she brought back a couple of items for my brother, JG and I (which I love, hi mom!), she also arrived bearing nine gifts for Chewie! *squeeee*

I will post them soon enough! Below is a sneak on one... of the nine. :O

Most people refer to Chewie as a male--I think this might avoid such assumptions.

Chewie and Arcane

JG and Chewie went to MO two weeks ago for a short visit and for Chewie to get spayed. The doc's orders were for some rest and relaxtion so it only made sense that Chewie went off and found a new and exciting wrestling bud! Arcane is an extremely sweet and gentle rescued border collie who can play with Chewie for hours on end, can herd Chewie into line and can stare alongside Chewie at JG while he sleeps. (He said waking up to those two pair of eyes was one of the creepiest experiences he has ever had.)

While short in stature, Chewie was big in character and was definitely the alpha of the pair--she was a little nippy at times although that may be due to her procedure. They played wonderfully and I'm sure they totally miss each other now that Chewie's back in JC. :(

We totally need to get these two back together again soon!
